1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Fayatori Radio application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
These Terms apply to all users of the App, whether using as a guest or with a registered account.
2. About the app
Fayatori Radio is a mobile application developed by Samtakie that allows users to stream live radio stations broadcasting from Suriname. The App is available on Android via the Google Play Store.
The App is free to use. We do not charge for access, subscriptions, or features.
3. User accounts
You may use the App without creating an account ("Guest Mode"). If you choose to create an account:
- You must provide a valid email address and a password of at least 6 characters
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure
- You must not share your account with others
- You must not create accounts for others without their consent
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose of listening to radio streams. You must not:
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App
- Use the App to stream or redistribute content in violation of copyright law
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure or servers
- Use automated tools to access or scrape the App or its data
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
5. Radio content and third-party streams
Fayatori Radio aggregates publicly available radio streams. We do not produce, own, or control the audio content broadcast by the radio stations available in the App.
- The radio stations are operated independently by their respective broadcasters
- We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of any radio stream
- Stream availability may change without notice if a broadcaster modifies or discontinues their stream
- Audio content may be subject to copyright owned by the respective broadcasters and music rights holders
If you believe any content available through the App infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us at legal@fayatori.com.
6. Intellectual property
The Fayatori Radio app — including its name, logo, design, code, and original content — is owned by Samtakie and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of the App or its content without our prior written permission.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The App will be available at all times or without interruption
- All radio streams will be accessible at all times
- The App will be free from errors, bugs, or security vulnerabilities
- The audio quality of streams will meet any particular standard
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Samtakie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or interruption of service.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, since the App is free, is zero).
9. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to the app and terms
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. We will indicate the date of the most recent update at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
We may discontinue or modify any feature of the App at any time without prior notice.
11. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. If you have an account, you may request deletion of your account and data by contacting privacy@fayatori.com.
We may terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms, with or without notice.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Suriname. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Suriname.
